What’s on my desk

I spend more and more time at my desk these days, doing everything from preparing the family taxes to working on this blog. Because of this, my workspace is constantly changing. Holding the clutter at bay is challenging, so I prefer to keep nearby only a few quality items that serve multiple purposes over a stockpile of things I might never need.

I retired back to my home town of Monterey in 2014. I continue to do volunteer work for the International Convocation of Unitarian Universalist Women, an organization of liberal religious women dedicated to building international partnerships to improve women's lives. I am a wife, and the mother of two grown daughters. I am a member of the Houston Writers Group and am active in the Del Monte Beach Neighborhood Association and the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Monterey Peninsula where I am a leader of Communities Organized for Relational Power in Action.
